My Travel Adventure As A Homebody

June 4, 2018 by Jane Moore No Comments

Traveling is my happiness. Whether local or international, I make sure to grab the opportunity if it presents itself. Everyone loves to travel, I mean who doesn’t? Even a homebody wants to go see new things from time to time.

I used to be one of those homebodies who finds comfort and happiness inside my room. As a homebody, I always want to simply relax whenever I have the time because I usually have a busy schedule. I’d rather choose to stay at home than mingling with strangers at a bar. I enjoy nothing more than lying on my blanket in my own bed at night. During these moments, my only activity is waking up to surf the internet and having a cup of hot coffee every few hours. I am pretty contented with spending the rest of my time at the comfort of my home. I am a homebody in every aspect which traced back when I was still young. Instead of being left at a daycare, I love to be dropped off at my grandparents’ house. There, I just lock myself in the guest room and play video games by myself. Being social was not really my strongest suit. As such, I stayed as far away from other kids as I can. But that doesn’t mean that I want to live my life in the corners of my room forever. Of course, like many others, I also have dreamed of traveling the world. There are many places included in my bucket list that I want to visit which I think would allow me to find peace and quiet which is the number one purpose of my travel.

Before I started my adventure and my own travel blog, I was inspired by some cool photos and motivating stories written by some of the most adventurous travelers. This happened when I was looking for highestcashoffer.com reviews on the internet for some my friend. From this, I was able to read many travel articles and sites referring the different types of travelers. While at it, I constantly encounter write-ups about homebody travelers. This fascinated me because I can relate. As such, I see to it that I can also share my story.

I am a homebody traveler. Oftentimes, homebodies are less likely to step on the outside of their home or go on a trip because they don’t know how to adapt to the travel environment with their own rhythm. With that in mind, I create this blog to help homebodies who love to travel like me. I compiled some tips for creating a home on the road and in the destination, you will visit. You can see that on every blog I’ve written.

Truth to be told. I never knew I could travel the world and see the beauty of many places. I am just a homebody who is contented and happy in my own bed. But traveling has its perks and those are what I enjoy. I hope, you will find the advantages of traveling as well as you go through this blog.

Welcome to my kingdom

October 18, 2017 by Jane Moore No Comments

Welcome to my kingdom – to the land of rainbows and unicorns with cherries on top!

If that is not a good way to greet you guys out there, then I do not know what is. Thank you for showing interest to my personal blog. To say that I am feeling overwhelmed of all your support is an understatement. I am greatly surprised by how many people really care. Eversince I started this blog, help just kept on pouring in. Now, I feel stronger. And the future? Brighter than it used to be.

To those who doesn’t know the story yet, I am a thirty something wanderer. Yes, that’s how I can basically describe myself because I love to flitter from place to place. My mom calls me her butterfly because I feel the need to always keep my feet moving. If only I was given a pair of wings other than feet, I’d never set foot again on the same space once in a lifetime.

Would you believe that just this year, I managed to move in to 6 different houses? And it’s just a quarter of the year! This is why Ibhave long given up owning a house. I just lease one without a contract so it’d be easier to move away again soon. Right now though, I am living a dreamhouse in the middle of Wichita, KS. The porch is wrap around, and the landscape is beautiful. But one thing that caught my attention of finally renting it is the garage door that looks like magic. It is made of glass that sparkles and iridescent under the glow of the moon. The landlord told me he had the best Wichita garage door service install it recently.

Before you ask, yes, it is possible for a garage door to look magical or bring a magical look to your property. I was informed that such installation was made by the local garage door service guys here in Tampa, FL. So if you want to know what I mean, contact them today. They have a range of garage doors to choose from that features many amazing designs and comes in many colors. The material it could be made of runs from wood, vinyl, glass, and aluminum, among others. Plus, it is insulated too. No uncomfortable heat or cool wind running through your household.

How can I afford this? I am a freelance writer whenever I have the time. This gives me the means to also travel on my own (I don’t have a husband or a partner). I also sell some crafts I do on my own. I’m a painter and wood carver when I have the time.

Anyway, I chose to create this blog to let people see the world through my eyes. Through the internet, which is ever present, I believe this is possible. I want people to learn many different culture by experiencung it through me. Lastly, I want these memories to last.

I do believe that by storing it here, I am slowly achieving my goals. So what are you still waiting for? Follow my footsteps into the different parts of the world!

CAMBODIA – The Land of Ankhor Wat

October 16, 2017 by Jane Moore No Comments

Yay! I’m in Asia. And Cambodia is my first stop. I arrived at night time so I didn’t see much of the landscape of this country from the sky. However, officially landed now, I passed the immigration and bought a local sim card for this tour. Yeah, I usually do that when I travel. Much cheaper instead of charging it to my telecom company.

With how crazy I’ve been using the internet service to contact my family and friends, I’d be owing my service provider loads of money before I know it!

I was looking for a car rental service, but it was closed and the only available ride from the airport is via this “Tuk tuk”. I took a picture of the id of the driver and sent it to my relatives just to be safe. Then, we proceeded to the hotel where I’d be stating for 3 days.

To say that the place is so alive at this time of the night, I arrived shortly before midnight their time, was an understatement. The place is vibrating with activity that even after being tired from the plane ride for hours, invites you to go down and shake your booties.

I chose to stay at a place named “The Gecko Hotel.” The Tuk tuk driver called it the Tuk Kaw hotel. He explained that it was called as such because of the sound the amphibian makes. Well, that makes sense. I figured that the name was fitting because anywhere you go in the vicinity of the hotel, there’s always a gecko waiting for you. I was also surprised that the driver was very fluent in speaking English which immediately relaxed the language barrier I thought would be a problem.

Anyway, the hotel is nice and airy. The welcoming committee is very hospitable. I cannot wait to start my adventure tomorrow!!! Check out my pictures.
